STAMPING AND DEEP DRAW
Stamping (also known as pressing) is the process of placing flat sheet metal, either in blank or coil form, into a stamping press, where a tool and die surface forms the metal into a net shape. Stamping includes a variety of sheet metal forming processes, such as punching (using a machine press or stamping press), blanking, embossing, bending, flanging, and coining.
Deep Draw is a specific type of stamping that involves drawing a metal blank into a deep shape, such as a cup or cylinder, using a die. This process is typically used for creating parts with deeper forms and is ideal for producing high-strength, high-quality components.
